Commercial Litigation Attorney
Lipsitz Green Scime Cambria is seeking an attorney with civil litigation experience to join the Firm’s Commercial Litigation Department. Ideal candidate should have at least 1-3 years of business and commercial litigation experience. Must be licensed to practice in NY. Candidates must be highly motivated and possess excellent academic credentials along with superior communication skills.
This position will work directly with partners and other associates on a variety of commercial litigation and business dispute resolution matters. Responsibilities include: research and writing, drafting pleadings and disputing complex motions, witness preparation, taking and defending depositions, preparing discovery, assistance in bringing cases through trial or arbitration, and participating in oral disagreements and court appearances.

Workers’ Compensation / Social Security Disability Attorney
Lipsitz Green Scime Cambria is seeking an Attorney to join the firm’s Workers’ Compensation & Social Security Disability Department.
Candidates must possess initiative; excellent writing, drafting, organizational, communication and client services skills.
Responsibilities:
- Manage complex legal matters in helping injured workers navigate the legal landscape.
- Draft pleadings, findings of fact, motions, briefs, opinions, and other legal documents.
- Conduct opening and closing statements, cross examination of vocational and medical witnesses and have a thorough familiarity with the record of each case.
- Prepare clients for hearing and appear before Administrative Law Judges to advocate on behalf of disabled clients at hearings.
- Analyzing cases and address issues.
Compensation:
- $85,000 – $125,000 annually, depending on a wide range of factors, including experience, skills, and qualifications.

Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Human Resources Manager
Lipsitz Green Scime Cambria is seeking a dynamic and experienced Human Resources Manager to lead the firm’s HR department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all HR functions, including payroll, recruitment, address employee concerns and foster a positive work environment, performance management, and compliance with labor laws.
Key Responsibilities:
- Payroll Processing: Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll for all employees, including calculating wages, overtime, and deductions. Oversee the ADP payroll system, ensuring it is up-to-date and functioning correctly. Implement any necessary updates or changes. Maintain accurate payroll records, including employee information, timekeeping data, and payroll transactions. Enter time for employees that did not clock in or out.
- Develop and implement recruitment strategies, conduct interviews, and manage the onboarding process to ensure new hires are integrated smoothly.
- Act as a point of contact for employee concerns, benefit questions, mediate disputes, and foster a positive work environment.
- Oversee performance appraisal systems, provide support to Attorneys, and ensure reviews are complete timely.
- Identify training needs, design, and implement training programs, and support employee development initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, update HR policies/handbook, and maintain employee records.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of HR management experience, preferably in a legal environment.
- Professional HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP) is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions and data analysis tools.
- Proficient in MS 365.
Compensation:
$90,000 – $120,000, yearly, depending on a wide range of factors, including experience, skills, and qualifications.
